Thompson won the triple jump at the Sparky Adams Invite this past Saturday in Berea, Ohio, posting a season-best mark of 13.28m (43' 7") to place first in a field of seven student-athletes. Oberlin, Case Western, John Carroll, Washington & Jefferson and Central State were also represented in the event.

The freshman, who was an All-NCAC winner during the indoor season, went on to place fifth in the long jump (6.25m, 20' 6.25"), which also was a season-high.
