The 46 points are the most in a single game by a Hiram student-athlete since All-American Rod Swartz set the program record in 1987 (51 points vs Carnegie Mellon), and are tied for the third-most points in a single game in program history. In the historic performance against the Hawks, Jakacki also chipped in 5 rebounds and 5 assists – he scored or assisted on 59 of the team's 91 points (64.8%) in the game. Jakacki's 27 points against CWRU included 19 second-half points and put his team within striking distance of knocking off the No. 8 team in Division III, according to D3Hoops.com.
