Thompson set a new program record in the triple jump (12.99m, 42'7½") and also made the finals in the long jump (5.97m, 19'7") at the Toy Drive Invite on the campus of the University of Mount Union. Thompson hails from San Francisco, where he attended the Galileo Academy.
