Doerflinger made an impact in the 101-lb bracket at the Princeton Open this past Sunday in New Jersey, beating Emma Acampora (technical fall, 12-0), Mandy Gavares (fall) and Sheila Cortez (decision, 8-6). The freshman from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania finished the day with a 3-2 record.
