Savering tied for 3rd in the 141-lb bracket at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday in Alliance, winning 5 of his 6 bouts on the day. Savering notably beat Mount Union's Ambrose Boni, who he lost to in last year's NCAA Central Regional. With the 5 wins, Savering became the first Hiram student-athlete to reach 50 career wins since the program was reinstituted in 2019.
