Kanno turned in another sensational week in the circle and at the plate, helping the Terriers to a trio of wins, including a conference doubleheader sweep of Allegheny. In the circle, Kanno went 3-0 with a 0.39 ERA in 18.0 innings pitched, allowing just one earned run on 13 hits, walking four and striking out 22. While at the plate, Kanno batted .600/.600/1.067 with nine hits, a double, two home runs, five runs scored and four RBI.
