Oct. 4 – KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Hiram College women's soccer team earned their 15th Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches for their 2017-18 academic performance.
The United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award acknowledges programs who continually strive for academic excellence. The teams that are recognized must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to be eligible for the award.
For the 11th-consecutive year, the Terrier women have garnered the team academic award, including all three seasons under head coach Michael Cracas. In addition, the program earns the honor for the 15th time since 2000.
The Terriers were one of six programs from the North Coast Athletic Conference to earn the Team Academic Award, and boasted the third highest GPA among conference schools.
