Matt Sorrick enters his 17th season with the Hiram swimming and diving program and second season as head coach in 2019-20.
Throughout his time with the program, including the last two seasons, Sorrick has spearheaded the team’s recruiting efforts while also handling his day-to-day responsibilities within the college.
Sorrick served as an assistant coach for the Waterdawgs for 15 years.
As a student-athlete, Sorrick competed for the swimming and diving program for two years.
Sorrick graduated from Hiram in 1991 and earned his Master’s degree in Ecology from Kent State University in 1994.
Sorrick currently resides in Hiram, Ohio.
