The Hiram College men's and women's swimming & diving programs were recently awarded with Scholar All-America Team awards, as announced by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
Overall, a record 713 teams from 460 institutions nation-wide were honored with a Scholar Team award, which recognizes programs who obtain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Hiram women earned a Team Scholar All-America award for the third-straight season, posting a 3.49 GPA. The Terriers were one of seven NCAC schools to earn the award, but posted the highest GPA among member schools.
On the men's side, the Terriers accumulated a GPA of 3.30, which ranked third among seven NCAC schools that adorned the list.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
