Adam Hamad

Hamad enters his second season with the Terriers men’s volleyball program as an assistant coach and his third season with the Terriers volleyball program.

Alongside former head coach Kyle Mars, Hamad helped start the men’s volleyball program in 2017, building the program to its first varisty season in 2019 and helped coach two Terriers to All-AMCC honors.  

In two seasons with the women’s volleyball team, Hamad helped the team to a 42-16 record, including the best start in program history (10-0) and a runner-up finish in the NCAC Tournament in 2018. 

Hamad has also mentored five Terriers who earned All-NCAC honors during his tenure, including 2018 All-NCAC First-Team honoree Holly Hollinger.

Hamad joined the Terriers from Tallmadge High School in Tallmadge, Ohio, where he served as the head men’s volleyball coach for two seasons. With the Blue Devils, Hamad helped the program to a Division II District 3 runner-up finish in 2016.

Hamad earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Akron in 2013 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at Hiram College.
