The Hiram College volleyball team made it four-straight victories to open the 2018 season as the Terriers upended Adrian College, 3-0, on Tuesday evening in Price Gymnasium.
Not only was the victory Hiram's fourth-straight, but the Terriers also improved to 12-0 in set wins to begin the '18 campaign.
The hosts captured the match by taking set one, 25-17; set two by a score of 25-16; and the final set, 25-20.

Adrian would pull within two, before another 5-0 run, capped by a Hoffman ace, put Hiram up 17-10. From there, the lead would grow to as many as nine, before settling on the 25-17 final.
Hiram would come on strong in the second set, outscoring the Bulldogs 9-2 to open the frame. Cole tallied three kills in the run. She finished with a game-high 10 to pace the Terriers.
A service ace from Nikkia Schady would push the set lead to its highest point (16-7) before the final score settled at 25-16.
The third and final set was the most tightly contested, with the Terriers and Adrian knotted at 16-16 mid way through the set.
Back-to-back kills from Kiara Franks and Martin, along with another ace from Cole, pushed the Hiram lead to 19-16. The lead would swell to as many as five thanks to another ace by Hoffman (23-19), before a pair of unforced Adrian errors gave the Terriers the 25-20 set win, and the match, 3-0.
Offensively, the ball was once again spread around nicely, as Hoffman finished the match with her third double-double of the season. The senior captain totaled 31 assists to go along with 12 digs.
Five different players totaled at least six kills, with Cole's 10 leading the charge. She also added a team-high three aces to go along with five digs.
