Women's Swimming and Diving Fall at Franciscan Meet
Nov.10- HIRAM, Ohio- The Hiram women's swimming and diving team competed in a dual meet against Franciscan University, Friday night. 
 
The Barons took the meet 115-55.   
 
Sophomore Jenna Nelson led the Terriers claiming two solo victories. Her first was in the 1650-yard freestyle, coming in at 20:17.98, over a minute faster than her competition. Nelson's second victory of the night came in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:43.11). 
 
The 400-yard freestyle relay closed out the night with a win in 4:39.25. The relay team included Nelson, sophomore Kimmy Morrison, and the freshmen duo Nicki Prentler, and Kerrie Romagna.  
 
In addition to the relay, Prentler finished first in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:56.57.  
 
Junior Sierra Daniels came in second in the 100-yard freestyle posting a time of 1:07.30.  
 
The Terriers claimed second, third, and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle. Morrison led the group a second shy of the Barons' competitor clocking in at 29.45. Trailing behind was Romagna in third, with Daniels coming in at 30.92.  
 
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, November 11, as they take on the Fightin' Quakers of Wilmington. The action is slated for a 1pm start.
