Hiram Swim Teams Drop Nonconference Meet at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell short in their meet against the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets on Friday evening.

Both Hiram teams are now 0-7 (0-2 NCAC) on the season.

The final score of the women's meet was 124-53, while the men's was 98-50.

Meredith Fitschen-Brown and Emily Kelly were the top swimmers for the women. Fitschen-Brown placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:17.85 time, while Kelly won the 500-yard freestyle with a 6:02.37 time.    

The Terrier men were led by Reeve Bowling. He placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.65 and second in the 100-yard butterfly with a 59.06 time.

Hiram will compete again on Saturday, December 3 when they host Bethany in a nonconference meet at 1 p.m.
