Women's Golf closes season at NCAC Championships

WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Hiram college women's golf team concluded the 2015-16 season at the NCAC Championships on Sunday afternoon at Wooster Country Club.

The Terriers finished seventh of seven team with a 72-hole team score of 1,885 strokes.

Wittenberg took home the title with a team score of 1,280 strokes, DePauw (Ind.) was second with 1,338 strokes and Denison finished with third with 1,400 strokes.

Senior Alexa Griswold (Conneaut, Ohio/Conneaut) led Hiram with a 72-hole score of 421. Her score placed her 27th.

Freshman Megan Kern (Geneva, Ohio/Austinburg) finished one spot behind Griswold in 28th, posting a score of 426 strokes. 

Jane Hopkinson-Wood of Wittenberg took home Medalist honors with a 72-hole score of 308.
