Jennings finishes in tie for seventh to lead Women's Golf at JCU Invitational

HUDSON, Ohio -- Junior Megan Jennings (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls) finished in a tie for seventh place to lead the Hiram College women's golf team to seventh place finish at the JCU Invitational at Hudson Country Club.

The Terriers carded a team score of 377-411-788 in the eight team field.

St. Francis (Ind.) took home the team title with a score of 665, Allegheny (Pa.) was second shooting a 692 and Mount Union was third with a 702.

Jennings fired a career-best 81 on Sunday and followed that with a 89 on Monday.

Senior Alexa Griswold (Conneaut, Ohio) finished in 33rd, freshman Megan Kern (Geneva, Ohio/Austinburg) finished in a tie for 34th and junior Brogran Petree (Minerva, Ohio) finished 43rd.

Regina Reilly of St. Francis took home Medalist honors with a 85-75-159 for the 36-hole tournament.

The Terriers will return to action on Sunday, when they compete at the Defiance Invitational.
