Women's Golf in seventh place after two rounds of NCAC Championships

HOWARD, Ohio -- The Hiram College women's golf team sits in seventh place of seven teams after the first two rounds of the NCAC Championships at Apple Valley Golf Course.

The Terriers posted a 36-hole score of 396-397-793 on the par-72, 5,287 yard course.

Wittenberg holds a 23-shot lead after two rounds, shooting a 310-318-628.

Hiram was paced by junior Megan Jennings (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls), who sits in 29th after shooting a 91-99-190.

Sophomore Brogan Petree (Minerva) fired a 103-92-295, which is good for 31st place.

Wittenberg's Macy Hubbard holds the 36-hole lead with a 77-74-151, seven over par.

Hiram will close out the championships on May 2 and May 3 as Wittenberg hosts the final two rounds at Springfield Country Club.
