May 2 – HIRAM, Ohio – By now, you have probably already seen the viral video of LeBron James taking a bottle from a server on the sidelines during the Cleveland Cavaliers second-round opening victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday evening. What you may not know, however, is that the server in the video is none other than Hiram College women's basketball standout, Allison Vannoy.
This is not the first time that Lebron James has crossed paths with Hiram College. The four-time National Basketball Association's Most Valuable Player previously played on Hiram's campus during his high school days at Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.
In addition, both the women's basketball and football teams work Cavalier home games as servers for different areas of the arena as fund raisers for their programs.
Vannoy was on hand working in Quicken Loans Arena on Monday night when she crossed paths with the three-time finals MVP. With 2:24 remaining in the third quarter, LeBron was fouled on a layup attempt and ran to the sidelines, where the Terrier junior was walking by. The interaction that ensued can be seen below:

With Allison's assist, the video has been liked over 20,000 times and retweeted nearly 12,000 times. That should come as no surprise, as Vannoy ranked among the North Coast Athletic Conference's best in assists per game and currently ranks in the top ten in Hiram history in total dimes.
Today, Fox 8's Maia Belay caught up with the Hiram guard to talk about the experience. The interview, which aired on Facebook Live, can be seen at the link below.
