Women's Basketball tabbed to finish eighth in NCAC Preseason poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Hiram College women's basketball team was picked to finish eighth in the NCAC Preseason Women's Basketball poll, in voting done by the league's head coaches.

The Terriers received 21 points in the poll.

DePauw was tabbed as the favorite with 74 points and six place votes, Denison was chosen second with 71 points and the final three first place votes and Wittenberg was picked third with 58 points.

Hiram returns nine players from last season's team that went 7-19 and made a return to trip to the NCAC Tournament.

The Terriers will begin the 2015-16 season by taking on Mount Saint Joseph in the "Lauren Hill Classic" on November 14. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier.
