Men's Volleyball Selected to Finish Fifth in AMCC Preseason Poll
 
Jan.14-The Hiram College men's volleyball team was picked to finish fifth in the first-ever Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference preseason coaches' poll.  
 
Hiram's fifth-place seed put them in front of Medaille College, D'Youville College, and Geneva College. 
 
The preseason favorite was Wittenberg University with a first-place ranking, Penn State Behrend was selected second, and Penn State Altoona rounded out the top three. 
 
In the Terriers inaugural season, Hiram tallied six victories also claiming an AMCC first team all-conference selection.  Last season, Alex Andrzejewski was named the 2018 AMCC Newcomer of the Year after averaging 2.84 kills per set and 317 total points on the season.
 
The Terriers will begin their 2018-2019 season at home hosting Adrian College and Thomas More University for the Hiram Invitational on Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19.
