June 26 – HIRAM, Ohio – Hiram College men's volleyball coach, Kyle Mars, has been selected to lead the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) High Performance Youth Team in the upcoming USA Volleyball High Performance Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. next month.

The Ohio Valley Region, Inc. is one of the largest of the 40 regional associations of USA Volleyball. Geographically, the OVR includes the states of Ohio, West Virginia, and the boarding counties of Western Pennsylvania.

"I am very honored and excited to get a chance to work with the OVR and USA Volleyball," commented Mars, who will be entering his second season as Hiram's head men's volleyball coach. "I look forward to the opportunity of leading these great athletes on the National stage."

Mars will lead a group of 10 athletes in grades 11-12 from schools across the region that were selected via tryout. The players will participate in a two-day camp at Bowling Green State University before traveling to Fort Lauderdale for the five day tournament.
