NORFOLK, Va. – The Hiram College men's swimming & diving team has been recognized for academic excellence by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as the program was recently named a Scholar All-America team.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America team, a program must have achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher over the course of the academic year.
In a conference of academic excellence, the Terriers are one of eight teams in the North Coast Athletic Conference to earn the honor this year.
With a cumulative grade-point average of 3.32, Hiram boasted the third-best average of all of their conference rivals.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
