Richard Milford Named All-NCAC Men’s Soccer Honorable Mention

Nov. 10 – CLEVELAND, Ohio – Hiram College men's soccer senior Richard Milford earned All-NCAC Honorable Mention honors following the best season of his Terrier career, announced the NCAC on Friday afternoon.

"Richard is very deserving of this honor," remarked head coach Dan Zemanski. "He was one of our top leaders both on, and off, the field. His presence and consistent performance on the back line not only helped solidify our defense, but also helped with our buildup on the attack."

From his position on the back line, Milford tallied five points, scoring two goals and adding an assist, all of which were career highs.

He did all of his damage against conference foes, scoring goals against both DePauw and Denison, while adding his second-career assist against Wabash.

On the defensive front, Milford helped the Terriers to 10, one-goal decisions, including five victories in matches decided by one tally. Additionally, he was a main piece to a back line that allowed just one goal or less in six matches. Hiram surrendered just one goal apiece to two NSCAA Top-25 programs, which included a 2-1 victory over #10 Otterbein on Sept. 13.

The All-NCAC honor marked the first of Milford's career.
