HIRAM, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's soccer team fell to Ohio Wesleyan by a 1-0 score after a last-minute goal was scored with three seconds left in the match.

Both teams recorded two shots in the first half, but the score remained 0-0.

The second half seemed similar to the first. The Terriers and Battling Bishops were trying to find a way to score, but neither team could prevail. It was not until the 89:57 mark that Brady Whittekind scored off of a crossbar deflection to secure the win for Ohio Wesleyan.

The Battling Bishops outshot the Terriers 11-6 and had a 13-4 edge in corner kicks.

Prior to the game, eight seniors were honored as part of Senior Day festivities. They included Vaal Ngalla, Danny Mujica, Neil Zook, David Grimwood, Zac Cairns, Jake Pastore, John Pretzlav and Santiago Montano.

The Terriers finish their season with record of 6-9-2 (3-6, NCAC), while the Battling Bishops finish with a 10-4-3 (5-2-2, NCAC) record.
