Men's Lacrosse Drops Conference Opener to Wittenberg

HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College men's lacrosse team fell short in their conference opener against the Wittenberg Tigers by a final score of 20-6 on Saturday.

The difference in the game came immediately in the first half. The Tigers outscored Hiram 11-3 in the first two quarters, with six of them coming in the first 15 minutes.

Tim Stucky scored two of the three Terrier goals, with both assists coming from Evan Pinney. Pinney also recorded the third goal, thanks to an assist from Hunter Jenkins.

Wittenberg continued to hold onto the momentum in the second half. Despite three more goals from Stucky, Pinney and Ben Neill, the Tigers tacked on nine more goals to secure the win.

The Terriers will next travel to Wooster on Saturday, March 25 to face the Fighting Scots in a 4 p.m. conference matchup.
