Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Strimer Memorial Invitational

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Hiram College men's golf team competed at the Oakhaven Golf Club in day two of the Strimer Memorial Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Ohio Wesleyan hosted the event.

The Terriers placed fifth out of five teams. Other teams competing in the invitational included Ohio Wesleyan, Trine, Denison and Adrian.

Michael Schustrich led Hiram, placing 21st with a 167. Ryan Paterak and James Workman rounded out the top three Terrier golfers, placing 27th (179) and 28th (180), respectively.

Denison's Jonathan Taylor earned medalist honors with a final score of 144.

Hiram will compete next weekend (April 8-9) in the Ted Barclay Invitational at the Denison Golf Club in Granville, Ohio.
