A two-sport athlete, Johnson was named an All-NCAC selection for the Terrier football team in the fall. Getting his second all-conference nod, Johnson totaled career highs in tackles (83), tackles per game (9.3) and pass breakups. He also amassed three forced turnovers, four sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss. Johnson never registered less than six tackles in a game, and broke the double-digit plateau, twice. Also a defensive asset for the men's lacrosse team, Johnson forced 31 turnovers during his junior campaign, breaking the school record for caused turnovers (68). In addition, he posted a career-best 57 ground balls. He totaled four goals and five total points, also marking a career best from his defensive spot.
