Hager made her collegiate debut last week, helping the Terriers to four wins in Tucson, Ariz. The freshman appeared in all ten games, splitting time as both a pitcher and center fielder. In the circle, Hager made a pair of starts, posting a 3.94 ERA with eight strikeouts and a 1-1 record.
At the plate, Hager led the Terriers in nearly every major statistical category, going 18-of-30 (.600) at the plate while slugging .967. Kaitlyn tallied five doubles and a pair of home runs, while driving in seven runs. She also posted five stolen bases, which led the team.
Throughout the week, Hager produced a hit in every game, racking up a multi-hit performance, seven times. Her top outing came in a 17-6 win over Rockford, where she went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs score and a pair of RBIs.
