Morgan Thompson joins the Hiram College Cheer/STUNT program as an assistant coach under head coach Samantha Campbell for the program’s inaugural season.
Thompson comes to Hiram after a highly successful, four-year career with Alma College. A four-year member as a base with the Scots, Thompson competed at the National level, both in the National Cheer Association (NCA) finals and in STUNT competition.
During her tenure with Alma College, the Scots dominated the NCA circuit, tallying back-to-back National Championships in both 2017 and 2018 after finishing as runner up the previous two seasons.
In the sport of STUNT, Morgan helped the Scots qualify for Nationals during all four seasons, finishing as the National runner-up in 2018.
Along with being a competitor during her time at Alma, Thompson also gained experience with the Alma college cheer prep clinic, where she served as a demonstrator and instructor for young athletes interested in the sport of STUNT.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Thompson graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Alma in 2018.
