Luke Wright joins the Terrier coaching staff for his first season in 2017. He will be tasked with leading the wide receivers.
Wright comes to Hiram from Towson University, where he worked as a defensive and special teams quality control coach.
Prior to his time with Towson, he served one season as the wide receivers coach at Division II Quincy University. As the receivers coach for the Hawks, Wright helped wideout Eric Poindexter earn All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors. That season, he tallied 930 yards on 57 receptions while scoring 11 touchdowns.
Along with his coaching stints at Towson and Quincy, Wright made stints with both McDaniel College (2014) and Century High School. While with the Green Terror, Wright served as the running backs coach. In addition, he served as the offensive coordinator at CHS.
A four-year member of the Duquesne University football team, Wright was a member of the 2011 NEC Championship program.
Wright earned his Bachelor's degree in history from Duquesne in 2013 before going on to get his Masters in educational leadership from Quincy.
