Joshua Howell enters his first season as the assistant coach of the men's lacrosse team.
Howell joins the Terrier coaching staff after completing his undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University. During his time at WMU, he spent two years working in the athletic department as a member of the sports marketing event staff.
Joshua began his coaching career with Kalamazoo College men’s lacrosse as an assistant coach and operations assistant last season. During the one year with the Hornets, the team earned the program's first-ever Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) victory and finished the season with a 3-4 mark in conference play.
Howell also helped the Hornets to another first as he coached long-stick midfielder Zack Morales to MIAA Second-Team honors, the first player in program history to garner such an award.
In addition to coaching, Howell served as the Program Operations Assistant for the Baltimore Breakers Lacrosse Club, while also interning with the World Series of Youth Lacrosse as the Director of Statistics & Social Media.
Howell graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management and a minor in Business in 2017. He is enrolled in Hiram's Master of Arts in Disciplinary Studies program.
